[Sprout: First encounter with sandblasting nozzles (1999-2000)]

When we entered the sandblasting media industry in 1999, we gradually understood a key secret in the process of exploring sandblasting machines, sandblasting media and accessories: the sandblasting nozzle, a seemingly tiny component, is actually the core that determines the performance of the entire sandblasting system - it controls the speed, angle and uniformity of abrasive spraying with millimeter-level structural accuracy, directly affecting the accuracy and efficiency of surface treatment.

At that time, there was a significant technological gap in the Chinese market: before 2000, domestic companies could only produce tungsten carbide and silicon carbide nozzles, while boron carbide nozzles with lightweight and super wear-resistant characteristics were completely dependent on imports from international brands such as 3M in the United States and Clemco in Germany. These "neck-breaking" high-end accessories are not only expensive, but also restrict the process upgrades in domestic aerospace, precision manufacturing and other fields.

【Breakthrough: Ten Years of Hard Work on Hot Pressing Sintering Technology (2011-2020)】

In 2011, with the technical accumulation of hot pressing sintering process in China, we took the lead in launching independent research and development of boron carbide nozzles. This decade-long technical breakthrough covers three core breakthroughs:

Material formula iteration: Through 127 ratio tests, we overcame the control difficulties of boron carbide powder purity (99.5%+) and particle size distribution (D50=2.5μm), and solved the pain point of easy brittle cracking of traditional formulas;

Equipment innovation: Introducing fully automatic isostatic pressing equipment, the sintering temperature is accurately controlled at 2100±10℃, so that the product density reaches 98.7% of the theoretical value, close to the international top level;

Process optimization: The original "gradient sintering + pulse pressurization" process reduces the roughness of the nozzle inner hole to Ra0.8μm, and the wear rate is reduced by 23% compared with imported products.

In 2020, the German FAGOR three-dimensional detector measured that the hardness of our boron carbide nozzle reached HV3200, and the bending strength of our tungsten carbide nozzle exceeded 2800MPa. The key performance indicators were fully comparable with international brands such as 3M, Clemo, and Kenna etc. At present, we have become the core OEM/ODM supplier of many global TOP10 sandblasting equipment brands, and our products are used in high-end scenarios such as Boeing aircraft skin processing and Tesla battery shell sandblasting.

This history of technological evolution confirms an industry truth: sandblasting nozzles are not simple consumables, but industrial nerve endings that integrate material science, fluid mechanics and precision manufacturing. Today, we have not only achieved the localization of high-end nozzles, but also built a full-chain service capability covering "sandblasting medium selection - nozzle structure design - system performance optimization" - just as our vision in 2011: to make China-made sandblasting core components a reliable fulcrum for global industrial upgrading.
