Welcome to ZIBO LONGSHINE
A. Product Basics
1. What’s the difference between boron carbide (B4C) nozzles and tungsten carbide (WC) nozzles?
Boron carbide nozzles are the hardest (next to diamond) and best for extreme abrasion resistance (e.g., sandblasting with hard grits). Tungsten carbide nozzles offer a balance of hardness and toughness, suitable for high-pressure applications (e.g., waterjet cutting) with moderate abrasion.
2. What are the key advantages of your carbide nozzles compared to metal or ceramic nozzles?
Longer lifespan (5-10x vs. metal), better resistance to wear/impact, and stable performance under high pressure/temperature—saving replacement time and cost.
3. Do you offer standard sizes or custom designs?
We stock common sizes (e.g., 35X20X3.2-12mm, 45x20x3.2-12mm, 60x20x3.2-12mm etc) for quick delivery. Custom designs (size, shape, threading) are available based on your drawings or application needs.
B. Application
1. Which nozzle is best for my application?
Application Recommended Material Reason
Sandblasting (hard grits like steel shot) Boron Carbide Extreme abrasion resistance
Waterjet cutting (high-pressure) Tungsten Carbide Toughness + wear resistance
Spraying (abrasive slurries) Tungsten Carbide Balances cost and durability
Mining/drilling (abrasive fluids) Boron Carbide Longest lifespan in harsh conditions
2. Can your nozzles work under high pressure or high temperature?
Yes. Tungsten carbide handles up to 60,000 psi (waterjet) and 500°C. Boron carbide works under similar pressure and is stable up to 800°C—both outperform most materials in extreme environments.
C. Purchasing & Delivery
1. What’s the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
MOQ is 1 piece for standard sizes (testing samples available). For custom designs, MOQ depends on complexity (usually 5-10 pieces).
2. How long does delivery take?
Standard nozzles: 1-3 business days (in stock). Custom orders: 15-25 business days (production) + shipping time (3-7 days by air to major countries).
3. What payment methods do you accept?
T/T (bank transfer), PayPal, and L/C for bulk orders. For samples, PayPal or credit card is available.
D. After-Sales & Support.
1. What’s the warranty for your nozzles?
We offer a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects (e.g., cracks from poor craftsmanship). Normal wear from use is not covered.
2. How do I know when to replace my nozzle?
Signs: reduced flow rate, uneven spray pattern, or visible wear on the orifice. For critical applications, we recommend checking after 50-100 hours of use (varies by application).
3. Can you provide technical support for installation or troubleshooting?
Yes. Our engineers can assist with installation tips, performance issues, or replacement advice via email, video call, or phone
E. Other FAQ
1. Are your nozzles eco-friendly or compliant with international standards?
Our carbide materials are non-toxic, and production follows ISO 9001 quality standards. We can provide material certificates (e.g., chemical composition, hardness test reports) upon request.
2. How do you pack the nozzles to avoid damage during shipping?
Each nozzle is packed in a hard plastic boz then in carton with shock-absorbing material—we’ve never had shipping damage reports in 5+ years.
